My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way is readying the release of his ‘The Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite #1’ comic book. “The first issue of the comic is done and the second one is nearly finished,” Way tells Kerrang!. “I just hope it gets people into comic book stores who wouldn’t normally go there. That’s a success to me. That’s why I’m finally happy to talk about it in music magazines – because the point is to show people who aren’t into comics how much great stuff there is out there. Comics are a struggling art form. I’m really psyched about it.”
